V. P. of Citrus Production for Orange-Co in Arcadia, Jerry Newlin, also presently leads the Florida Citrus Production Managers Association.
Newlin says growers have mixed optimism and challenges going into this year’s Florida harvest. Newlin has also been instrumental in working with Southeast AgNet to develop an on-line method for growers and production managers to easily share their field experiences in ongoing efforts to control and live with citrus canker and greening diseases.
