How Conservation Programs Will Fare Under Extension

Agriculture department officials are still hopeful that a new farm bill can be finalized by the April 18 deadline, but they are looking ahead in the event of an extension of the current bill for another year. Natural Resources Conservation Service chief Arlen Lancaster says they are really not sure what will happen.
